Scheduled home visit with client (08/28/2023 @ 12pm) and her doorbell does not work so she would like us to call upon arrival. She is interested in electrical work, windows, flooring, and wall repair.

Went on client Mildred Shelton’s home visit and the client would like five windows replaced along with the flooring in two rooms. The client already has picked out contractors for both the flooring and the windows. Both the contractors that the client chose have already given her the bids. The client has sent both bids to the Invest STL team but the client no longer has access to the emailed copies. I took photos of the paper bids that the client had for both projects. She expressed fixing her basement with any leftover funds. The client is ready to get started with repairs as soon as possible. The contact information for the flooring was 314-996-9227 and for the windows 314-517-4147. The client said that she is available on Tuesday mornings for scheduling purposes. The client would like PCD to handle communicating with the contracts because she is currently frustrated with the process.

Talked with client Mildred Shelton and let her know that we are in the process of reaching out to her chosen contractors so she can begin the process of getting her work done. She said that she spoke with one of the contractors this morning and they would like clarification on how the process will work. She is ready to get started on both projects immediately. Sent the client an email so she can submit contractor information.

Talked with client Mildred Shelton and she confirmed that work with the flooring started today but she has not heard anything in regards to the windows. She then inquired about how much money she had left and I let her know that I would update her on Wednesday she also wanted to know if the program could cover the cost of window shades.

Window Response
On Friday, October 27, 2023, 12:38 PM Joe with the window company emailed us a copy of their W9 as that was what we needed to get him set up in the system. This was his response: “I cannot supply a deposit invoice until I get the paperwork signed and the order into my system. Please let me know the next step. I’d like to get this wrapped up before the end of October. I will need to meet with Mildred to get the necessary signatures and paperwork.”
I responded on Friday, October 27, 2023 1:09 PM with the following response:
“Thanks for sending this. Will your email be the email address used for billing? My accountant will send you an email with the next steps to get your company set up. Whenever you send over the deposit invoice is when we will issue the deposit. Can we help with initiating the paperwork as the client is under our program?”
I proceed to follow up via phone with no returned calls.
As of today, I’ve emailed and spoke with him again. Informing him we are still waiting for him to send us or the client's paperwork. He stated he would check in again and apologized again for their delayed/poor responses. I also asked the amount of the job, and he is unsure but will try to find the proposal to send to us.
I’ve called Mildred and gave her an update. Also, request the window quote from Invest STL as I thought we requested already. She said she submitted it to them but never received it. She can get shades and I informed her of that. I told her you would call her if we got any updates from the window company.
As of now, her balance is $14,515.
