Called Rooted Client Debra Townsend and let her know that we would like to schedule a home visit so we can see the areas in which she would like repaired and take pictures. Home visit scheduled 08/23/23 @ 4 pm. The client verified that they are interested in getting bathroom renovations or central air. The client informed me that she would like PCD’s assistance in finding contractors, so she has the opportunity to compare multiple bids. The client expressed wanting assistance in determining what repair would add the most value to her home and asked to discuss it during the home visit.

Did a home visit with client Debra Townsend who is trying to decide between having two bathrooms or just one bathroom and central air (mainly on the first floor). She currently has widow units through her home for colling. She currently already has contractors that she would like to do that have done work previously in her home. She is open to other contractors because she is not sure of them being able to do her desired caliber of work. As far as scheduling, she is currently retired so she has a flexible schedule regarding being home during the week. She volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For the second-floor bathroom, she is interested in a new title throughout the bathroom along with new tile within the shower. The client is interested in getting suggestions regarding remodeling. She would like the carpet on the bathroom floor turned into tile along with a new linen closet that is located within the bathroom. Regarding the second bathroom which is Jack and Jill style, she would like retiling on the wall and bathroom floors. Along with a new bathtub.

I talked with client Debra Townsend and she informed me that she is currently in the process of getting her kitchen redone (not through this program) so that is why it’s been difficult to get in contact with her. She would still like to have a further conversation to see if getting two bathrooms or one bathroom and the A/C done on the first floor is better for overall home value. I informed her that through my brief conversation with Brian, I think A/C would be better for the overall home value but let her know that I would reach out to Brian. She said that she had one general contractor reach out so far, but she has been unable to talk to them as of yet. I informed the client that we would inquire about what is happening with the other contractors.

Brian gave the client a call and let her know that he would probably recommend HVAC but is recommending that we collect all the bids first and then make a decision in regard to what to do. The client sounds like she is flexible on which repair she would like to get done. Brian let the client know that he would send out some HVAC contractors so she could have bids to compare regarding the central air. He sent one email to Snowflake Heating and Colling, Hoffman Brother, and Heating and Colling Pros
